Meet the breeder

I'm Debbie K., the breeder behind Remarkable Doxies located in Helenville, WI. Dogs and puppies are socialized with dogs, cats and kids. The adults are doggie door and wireless fence trained. They are our pets first. We got our first dachshund from the humane society, we have raised other breeds too but have always gone back to having dachshunds. My kids use to show them in 4-H, they won many trophy's and ribbons.

Q. & A. with Debbie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding because I love these little dogs. We got our first dachshund from the humane society and have been hooked on the breed ever since
  • What makes your program special?

Research shows puppies should stay with mom until 10 weeks at that time they will be ready for pickup. All puppies are socialized with dogs, kids and cats, raised in my house. All puppies will have been dewormed every 2 weeks, vet check, neopar vaccine, nasal bordetella and 1st 5way vaccine, plus registered microchip before leaving. Puppies will start piddle pad and crate training before leaving-families go home with a new crate and a wonderful starter kit. I now raise AKC dogs. I will send weekly updates videos/ pictures weekly once you pick your puppy. Adult dogs will be spayed/neutered plus dental cleaning before leaving. All will be UTD on vaccines and microchipped. Now or in the future you can contact me with any questions or concerns.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, brindle, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
