Resolution Border Collies

Rebecca J.

Breeder of Border Collies

Meet the breeder

I'm Rebecca J., the breeder behind Resolution Border Collies located in Arizona. As an active agility competitor, my goal in breeding is to create healthy dogs with strong conformation and drive to work. However, as the foundation for my lines, I am looking for a calm and affectionate disposition with a strong, natural off-switch to create dogs who are family members first.

Q. & A. with Rebecca

  • Why did you start breeding?

One of my puppies became the most incredible of dogs as she grew up, proving to be an incredible athlete with high-drive and desire to please. Having breeding rights, she became a candidate for my program and will now be the foundation form my line of dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

While many border collies, especially for sport, are bred for high drive, I am taking a more wholistic approach. My dogs, and the ones I select, are high-drive which is reflected in play, training, and competition. However, I expect my dogs to be family first and be calm, quiet, and relaxed around the house when not working. Breeding dogs with strong emotional and self-regulation is central to me.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
