I'm Paul T., the breeder behind Retrieving Labradors located in Grangeville, ID. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!
Q. & A. with Paul
Why did you start breeding?
We owned our first Labrador retriever in 2005 who we purchased from a military friend who breeds. She was an amazing bird retriever with great temperament. After talking about the process and doing some research, we decided we would like to contribute to responsible breeding and experience the joy of creating beautiful, healthy pups and bringing joy to families.
What makes your program special?
We have two family labs at a time and we only breed one dog at a time. This allows our pups to get the love and attention they need for proper development. Crate train in the evening starting at 6 weeks. This helps with pups sleeping through the night. Socialized by playing with them, engaging them with pup games, and snuggling them daily. AKC. 2 yr health guarantee. Vaccinated. Microchipped.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
