Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Before meeting my precious dachshund duke i got the chance to meet and talk to Darcel. She was welcoming, sweet and energetic. She left me with more supplies than i could carry alone, other than being over the top clean and immensely prepared the amount of knowledge she was able to provide was so helpful! Even after leaving we have kept constant contact and she has continued to help me with the process. If i had it in me i would go back to get another dachshund! 💕

    The only way I can start is with a heartfelt thank you. Thank you to Darcel (and her doggos!) for bringing my sweet Puck into the world and raising him so well for the first 9 weeks of his life. After losing my two senior boys—one in May 2024 and one in September 2025—I’ve felt a little lost. I’d always wanted a mini dachshund, and the moment I saw “Spicy Dill,” I just knew he was meant to be mine. From our very first interaction, Darcel made me feel welcomed and understood. When I reached out, I shared that this would be my first doxie and that I finally felt ready to open my heart and home to a new little bean. Darcel was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable—and honestly, almost as excited as we were to bring him home! We took Puck to the vet yesterday (as Good Dog recommends: “Have your own vet see your new puppy”), and our vet couldn’t stop praising him—his pedigree, his spine, hips, knees, and just how beautiful and well put-together he is. Of course, we know anything can happen, but it was incredibly reassuring to hear how pleased our vet was with how everything looks and how well our boy is doing. It truly speaks volumes about the care Darcel puts into her dogs and her program. This has genuinely been one of the smoothest and easiest processes I’ve ever been through. I’ll always be an advocate for adoption, but if you’re looking for a mini ween, Darcel is the breeder I will always recommend.
