I'm Allison B., the breeder behind Rich Hill Retrievers located in Heath Springs, SC. We understand the importance of solid foundations and health test our lines to ensure we are breeding to the standards you expect. We are dedicated to raising the bar for thoughtful breeding with optimal health in mind. Allison has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes AKC registration, 26 month genetic health guarantee, age appropriate vaccines, deworming, dew claw removal, microchip and puppy wellness check. Deposit holds your reservation until puppy gotcha day and balance is due at that time.”

Litter update on 15 Oct. •…We are really enjoying our time here in South Carolina this week. The beautiful fall weather has given us plenty of time to play outside and the kids are having a blast… they’re on the homestretch it’s almost time to go home!!

About Dixie
Dixie has a very gentle nature. She’s a couch potato and loves to play fetch. She’s the babysitter to our rescue Frenchie and loves taking care of her during the day. Dixie loves the outdoors including swimming and playing fetch. She is probably the most laid-back of all of our females in our program. A true sweetheart!

She’s a retrieving machine who loves to come inside after a long day of hunting and be warmed by the fire and snuggle on the couch. in the off-season she goes on morning runs with her family daily and loves going to the beach.

Oakley is the smallest of our females! She’s a working 45 pounds and around 50 during her off time. I call her the little brown torpedo! She loves to run and must always stop for a toy on the way out the door; she just can’t help herself. Her smile is contagious and her personality is hilarious. Rosa has earned 23 Master passes competing in the hunt test game. She loves her job as a working retriever but can come in the home with an off switch and just enjoy being a part of the family. Rosa has had all OFA and PPG genetic testing as recommended for Labrador retrievers and has all clear and excellent profile of testing results. She is a love bug and this is her second litter. The first litter produced very biddable, compliant puppies that were placed with professional trainers as well as avid outdoorsmen and have shown to be wonderful companions, competitors and gun dogs that are eager to please!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Allison was a blessing to work with! I was super nervous because this was my first time working with a breeder but she made the entire process such a breeze, she is so quick to respond and explained everything thoroughly. My little baby Shadow is the most precious, sweetest boy ever and he’s super intelligent. He is on track to becoming my service dog and even though he is only 2 months old, he is picking up on so many things quickly. Worth every penny — our Alfie is intelligent, adorable, in great health and happy as ever!
