Q. & A. with Karen
Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved dogs and was excited to establish my breeding program. I have loved the journey and I am a proud breeder of English Shepherds with a focus on temperament, health, and exceptional working traits. I love placing happy, healthy puppies with loving families. English Shepherds have proven to be wonderful companions in my life and it is a privilege to share that love and friendship with others.
What makes your program special?
I work with a mentor to help perfect my program and promote ethical and healthy breeding practices. All of my dogs are health tested through OFA and my female is genetically tested through Embark to ensure quality, healthy pups. I breed based upon the overall health, temperament, working ability, and complementary traits of the breeding stock. Welcoming a new puppy into your lives, home, and heart is a huge undertaking and blessing, and we strive to find the right match for every puppy and his or her new family.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
