I'm River Mountain K., the breeder behind River Mountain Kennels located in Arkansas. We take pride in breeding quality puppies as hunting & companion dogs. Their health & working ability is #1. Our pups are hand raised in our home. Our dam & sire have excellent temperaments & each litter they have produced has brought beautiful dogs to many families. We take great pride in our craft.

Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with the Labrador Retriever breed & decided to start our own responsible breeding program in order to continue our incredible line & to share these wonderful dogs with others. We are passionate about what we do & are dedicated to producing healthy, quality hunting & companion dogs.What makes your program special?
We are raise AKC registered dogs to the highest standard. We are thorough in health testing & caring for our dogs. We make sure each puppy gets the proper group & individual care that it needs to thrive. Our goal is to ensure that every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy, healthy life & is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
