I'm Briana S., the breeder behind River Reign Australian Shepherds located in Georgetown, TX. It is our goal to produce adorable, affectionate Aussie puppies that are healthy, well-tempered, and make wonderful companions. We hope to help families find their puppies from responsible and ethical sources to help build a better and safer world for our dogs. Owning an Australian Shepherd is a beautiful experience, and it would be our honor to connect you with the perfect new addition to your family.

Why did you start breeding?
After many years studying the breed and learning from my amazing mentor, I knew I had to participate for myself. Our first aussie is my son's emotional support animal. Seeing how in tune this breed is with their people make them the only ones for me.What makes your program special?
We strive to produce ethically bred puppies with health and temperament being our first and foremost. All of our littles are raised in a family setting well introduced to children and other animals. We are big on ENS and introduce the babies to a variety of stimulations to make for well rounded and adjusted littles when they go home to their forever people.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
