I'm Emma D., the breeder behind River Run Australian Shepherds located in Stanley, ID. We have high hopes for the puppies that Kokanee and Rocky will produce and know that they will bring joy to their new families!
Q. & A. with Emma
Why did you start breeding?
For the last few years, we have had a desire to start a breeding program. We want to produce beginner sport dogs and good family pets. Kokanee's health testing results are amazing and her temperament is phenomenal. We are very excited to see how her puppies develop and know that they have a lot of potential to become "go anywhere, do anything" dogs as they grow up.
What makes your program special?
Our program is focused on the health and development of our puppies. We aim to raise puppies that will be able to fly through the agility course, assist with therapy work, or run on the trails! As new breeders, we have a desire to build a good foundation and are striving to learn all that we need to know as we start on this new journey.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Kokanee
Kokanee is our first breeding prospect and we have loved trying so many new things with her! Kokanee has tried obedience, barn hunt, and agility. Agility is definitely her favorite sport! She has a very high drive for this sport and we have plans to continue training in this area. Kokanee is also one of our trail dogs and loves to go for long hikes and backpacking trips. She also enjoys playing frisbee and cuddling up on the couch. Kokanee is very affectionate and loves to get pets.
