Q. & A. with Ann

  • Why did you start breeding?

In 2018, I bought my first Toy Australian Shepard, Leila, and the rest is history! I have been very fortunate to have received help and guidance along the way. Every litter is always a little different, but it is so fulfilling to see the different personalities and such a joy and challenge to hand-raise each puppy. I love watching them blossom!
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are an integral part of my family and daily life. This creates the ideal environment for puppies. From birth, they grow in a secure, loving environment where they know that they matter to their family -- that they have a purpose. Each one gets the best care that I can possibly provide!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

We had such a wonderful experience with Ann. From the very beginning, she showed genuine care for her dogs and was completely transparent about their health and upbringing. She answered all of our questions with patience and honesty, which gave us so much peace of mind throughout the process. It’s clear how much love and dedication they put into raising their puppies. We couldn’t be happier with our new furry family member and are so grateful we chose Ann. Highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience working with Ann from River Springs Aussies! She was incredibly responsive from the very beginning, answering all our questions promptly and thoroughly. Ann’s knowledge of the breed is impressive, and it was clear that she is deeply committed to the well-being of her puppies. Throughout the process, she sent us regular updates, which made us feel involved and excited as our new puppy grew. Our new puppy is absolutely amazing—intelligent, curious, and a fast learner. It’s obvious that Ann has put a lot of care into selecting the right families for her puppies, and we feel so fortunate to have one of them join our family. We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend River Springs Aussies to anyone looking for a well-bred, well-cared-for Aussie!

Ann was amazing. We put a deposit on our Raven when she was just days old completely based on pics of her parents. Couldn't have been more pleased. Ann posted and sent us pics of our little girl weekly showing us her growing and socializing. When we picked her up we got to see her Momma Destiny and could not believe how beautiful she is. She is now 12 and a half weeks and is a happy, healthy ball energy we just adore her along with her very BIG brother. Thank you Ann.

Ann was always very helpful and responsive. I felt very comfortable with the care and process of bringing Luke home. I really appreciate all the updates and answers to all my questions. We are so greatful after the loss of my senior dog a few months back and are in love with Luke. He is a great part of the healing process for me 🙂
