I'm Ann S., the breeder behind River Springs Aussies located in Norco, CA. I’m a breeder of Toy and Mini Aussies. I health test and complete OFAs at 2 years. They are raised in my home with family! My dogs are bred for health and temperament to provide healthy, happy pets to families who love Toy/Mini Australian Shepherds! it is important to research the breed you are wanting to buy to ensure will fit your lifestyle.   • Why did you start breeding?

    In 2018, I bought my first Toy Australian Shepard, Leila, and the rest is history! I have been very fortunate to have received help and guidance along the way. Every litter is always a little different, but it is so fulfilling to see the different personalities and such a joy and challenge to hand-raise each puppy. I love watching them blossom!

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs are an integral part of my family and daily life. This creates the ideal environment for puppies. From birth, they grow in a secure, loving environment where they know that they matter to their family -- that they have a purpose. Each one gets the best care that I can possibly provide!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Ann

Ann has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Ann partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“we have a waitlist so after 3 weeks you can pick puppy in place on waitlist, then if any still available you can choose your puppy if you have been approved, if they’re older 7-8 weeks I will choose by temperament but most our puppies are already spoken for by then ”

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,900 - $2,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a one-year genetic health guarantee, ASDR registration, the first and possibly second round of vaccinations, deworming, puppy socialization, dewclaw removal, and tail docking unless paid in full by 2 days old! non refundable deposit 20%, can be moved to a future litter if needed!”

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Orivet Genetics, Full Breed Profile, PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    I contact Ann as an inquiry about possibly a dog a little older than a puppy. I had lost my 15 1/2 year old dog 4 months earlier and was starting to think about a new dog but would be unable to take one for 3 months as I had a long trip planned. Ann had a dog she was retiring that sounded perfect. She was so flexible without being pushy. She made it easy for me to come meet Blakely and offered to hold her for me until I got back from my trip. Everything was smooth and I felt safe using the app. She has kept in touch with me since I brought Blakely home making sure she had a smooth adjustment. She is so kind, supportive and truly cares about her dogs.

    Ann was amazing. We put a deposit on our Raven when she was just days old completely based on pics of her parents. Couldn't have been more pleased.
