Meet the breeder

I'm Trina M., the breeder behind Riverbottom Aussies located in Gainesville, TX. Hello, my name is Trina Wade Martin, I am a hobby Breeder of mini Aussies. My love for animals started at a young age, growing up on a working ranch. My Grandpa had working Aussies, my favorite was a blue merle female with one blue eye and one brown eye, named Bobbie. She was grandpa Jakes favorite too! He always said, “She knows what I’m thinking before I think it.” I saw firsthand the intelligence that this breed is so widely known for, along with being a loyal companion. My husband Chad and I, live on a ranch north of Gainesville Texas. Raising mini Aussies was definitely an “ALL” me adventure, but certainly one I could not do without him. Chad chose the fire department life 30 years ago, and is still going strong. Elementary education was my love. After many years teaching I needed a change of pace. I went and worked with my husband, working for the fire department as the HR person for 4 years. I began teaching again in August 2021. Chad and I have five of the most wonderful amazing kids. The two oldest, have blessed us with 7 grandkids and one that will be here in August. My grandkids, ages range from 9 to 5 months old, are a huge part of my life, and my Aussies. Skye, Belle, Izzie, Gracie, Cash and Riggs are never shorted on play or lovein'. These fur babies of mine, are also around and mingled with cows, horses, pygmy goats, miniature pigs, chickens and rabbits. I stated earlier my love for animals. Thank you for considering one of my puppies.
