I'm Morgan K., the breeder behind R&M Dachshunds located in Conroe, TX. My name is Morgan and I have been raising Dachshunds for over five years now, starting with my first named Hershey and Fuzzy. Hershey is on the cusp of retirement now, ready to live out her days as my lap dog and she thinks she is security at her age. My dogs are raised in my home and retired in my home. They are rarely rehomed to a new family unless deemed necessary and if they would enjoy being the only dog instead or being with myself and their little pack. What they need matters more. We participate in a multitude of sports which includes FCAT, Dock Diving, Agility, Barn Hunt and we are just beginning to get into conformation and Fly Ball.

Why did you start breeding?
My oldest Dachshunds name was Dot. She passed back in 2021. I got into breeding because of her and wanting to provide a healthy dog for my families. Dot was a mixed rescue and passed at the age of 11 from heart failure.What makes your program special?
Our dogs live in our home and are treated like family. We would do anything for our dogs and continue to do anything for our dogs. They are raised with socialization from other animals, dogs, and people, and around all types of sounds.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

"Non registered puppies are $1000 while Dachshunds vary from $1650-$2000(CKC, AKC, APRI, etc). Deposits are all non-refundable."

My husband & I wanted a dachshund as our first pet together, & we wanted to make sure we found a good, ethical, safe, etc. breeder. I believe we found that from R&K Dachshunds! She was always responsive with any questions I had, & she sent many (p)updates from the day we reserved our pup, to the day we picked her up. Our puppy came to us healthy & happy. Morgan provided everything we needed for our puppy’s first few weeks with us, including food, toys, a blanket that smelled like her litter, & more. Our puppy was given a clean bill of health from Morgan’s vet before we took her home, as well as ours a few days after we took her home. You can tell that Morgan really cares for her dogs, even after they go to a new home. We love our sweet girl & are so thankful to Morgan!

I must say that I am SUPER impressed with the quality of care from this breeder, Morgan. She really cares for the puppies and it shows. She kept in communication with me from beginning to end. Her responses were quick as well. She sent our baby home with everything she needed and then some. I definitely recommend her if anyone is looking for a dachshund.
