Meet the breeder

I'm Amy R., the breeder behind Robertson's Dream Ranch Aussies & Yorkies located in Owenton, KY. We are small town breeders in a rural county that takes pride in raising beautiful and healthy pups. We breed Mini & Standard Aussie's, Yorkies and Shichon (Teddy Bear) puppies. We love our farm family, and our 5 kiddos makes sure all our babies are very well socialized.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have had Aussie's and love their really smart nature and athleticism. We have 2 amazing mini aussies who's temperament is excellent and they have been the most amazing additions to our family. We have cows so using them for work is a plus.

  • What makes your program special?

    I take pride in raising healthy and well cared for babies. Each one is apart of my family. They are raised in our home and very socialized with kids of all ages.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amy

Amy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Amy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price is based on which breed of dog, size, color, sex and either pet or breeding rights desired. All puppies are listed with their pet price. I require a $300.00 non refundable deposit to hold a puppy until their release date.”

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Wow, what a wonderful experience we had getting our Aussie puppy from Amy! She was so responsive and easy to chat with and answered all my many questions! when it came time to getting our puppy, she drove 3 hours to meet us, which was so kind and our puppy has been the easiest to train, super smart , and prettiest Aussie ever !     Once I saw the pics of “Sally” on Amy’s page I knew she was the pup I wanted. Working with Amy was great answering all my questions and working with me to pick up my new puppy. She is now 8 months old and I couldn’t be happier. She is easily the best behaved, smartest dog I’ve ever been around. She seemingly came home already potty trained at 8 weeks old. Vet checks have been great and she is maturing beautifully. Can’t speak highly enough about Amy or the breed.
