Meet the breeder

I'm Robin R., the breeder behind Robins K9 companions located in Robbinsville, NC.

Q. & A. with Robin

  • Why did you start breeding?

As a child, I would always find animals and bring them home. Hide them in my bedroom and care for them! As a teen, I had dogs that I would spend hours training. I used to raise German shepherds geared for police work and also Corgis. I love their spunky and tenacious personalities!
  • What makes your program special?

I care about the health of each puppy sold and their future well-being. All puppy parents are tested for genetic issues such as degenerative myelopathy, VWD1, and EIC. I’m always blessed to find excellent homes and that bring so much joy to me and my program!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Maltese puppies are white. Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
