I'm Sherri R., the breeder behind Rock Island Miniature Dachshunds located in Hackett, AR. We take pride in raising our pups. We are a small breeder family. We love these pups very much and do everything possible to get them ready for their new furever loving homes. Our Dam and Sire are awesome parents and love their puppies! Our dogs and puppies are very socialized and love adults and kids.

Why did you start breeding?
9 years ago my sister and her husband got a miniature long hair black and tan dachshund. We fell in love with him. We decided to move to Arkansas to be close to them. In 2019 we got our first little female Dachshund and male Dachshund. We decided we wanted to breed them and share the love!What makes your program special?
Our dogs are loved so much that when they have puppies... these puppies are already the most lovable, friendly and confident puppies you will ever meet! I also introduce the puppy pad at 3 weeks so that their new owners will be and have been so impressed at how quickly they had caught on. I also have lots of fabulous stories of how their new families came into their lives forever!What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Getting a puppy from Sherri
Sherri has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 deposit and between $1,275 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes papers, 1st set of vaccinations, tested for worms dewormed if needed, health examine and 1 year health guarantee from vet, microchipped upon request. A puppy gift bag filled with goodies! Bag of puppy food. Referrals provided upon request. Deposit will be put towards balance. If you end up needing to back out you will need to give notice before puppy turns 12 weeks old. Deposit is only refundable under certain conditions. If you’re nearby, you can drive to pick up the puppy. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane to pick up your pup. If it is within a 2-3 hour one way we may be able to meet you halfway. To make things easier, Puppy and I can meet you at a nearby or local airport.”

She always communicated with me about my pup and answered all my questions I had. My dog is currently 1 year and I can say that going with Sherri was the best option I could have gone with.
