Meet the breeder

I'm Bayly C., the breeder behind Rocking 4C located in Webb City, MO. I am a passionate breeder raising healthy, temperamentally sound dogs. I carefully choose the sire & dam in order to produce the best quality possible. I do all I can to ensure the puppies have all they need to develop into healthy & happy, wonderful companions!

Q. & A. with Bayly

  • Why did you start breeding?

I loved the very idea of making purpose-bred dogs available to everyday families. Growing up, we knew who raised bird dogs and hounds, but I thought purebreds in all other breeds were only available through pet stores - they weren't locally accessible! I developed a love for the rat terrier, and along came our first Aussie. I did my first dog show. I knew I wanted to share that joy with others.
  • What makes your program special?

The dogs in my program make my program special. They are amazing ambassadors for their breed. Temperament, adaptability, and function are priceless trifecta. Having great dogs paired with my desire to produce the most well-rounded puppies one can find has developed an unwavering passion for what I do. I will never stop looking for ways to improve our program. I love the family we have grown!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Rat Terrier puppies include white, chocolate and tan, white and red, white and chocolate, white and blue fawn, white and blue, white and black, black tan and white, red white and sable, blue white and tan, black white and tan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
