I'm Rubi B., the breeder behind Rocky Mountain Biewer Terriers located in Dolores, CO. We’re a family program in Dolores, CO raising Biewer Terriers since 2016. Our dogs grow up in our home and yards, surrounded by family, cats, and daily life. We focus on health, happy temperaments, and finding the right fit for every puppy we raise.
Q. & A. with Rubi
Why did you start breeding?
My family fell in love with Biewer Terriers early on and began raising them in 2016. I grew up surrounded by the breed, helping care for litters and show dogs, and naturally stepped into running the program full-time. It’s been my passion and focus for over a decade.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are raised in our home, not kennels — surrounded by family, cats, and daily life. We focus on health, structure, and temperament, working closely with our vet and staying transparent with families. Every puppy gets lifelong support and a careful match to the right home.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
