I'm Joe D., the breeder behind Rocky Mountain Border Collies located in Ogden, UT. We raise family-oriented and hardworking dogs. Our puppies go on to be great family pets and working companions. We produce litters that are healthy and sound. Our puppies have the temperament to be amazing family members and the drive and trainability to do the job they were bred to do.
Q. & A. with Joe
Why did you start breeding?
I love my Border Collies and knew that if I ever get the opportunity to do it right I would. My dogs are genetic tested and have the temperament to fit in any home and any life style. They are divers from having a great companion and a working dog, yes you can have the best of both worlds. From a hiking companion, agility dog or herding dog for fun and/or a working ranch dog.
What makes your program special?
My puppies are imprinted based on their stages of life and set up for success when they go into their new homes. They are exposed to everything in life that you would introduce to them. They are crate trained. They see a veterinarian through all stages for current vaccinations, deworming and exams. They come with a 1 year free subscription to my online dog training platform www.dogtraining360.com
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
