I'm Shawnee B., the breeder behind Rocky Mountain Schnauzer located in Tremonton, UT. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament. We focus on conformation, athleticism, and intelligence in mind. We want to give our families the best dogs out there and to enjoy their dogs and not have to worry about them. Our goal is to produce strong, confident dogs that are ready to take on the world!

Why did you start breeding?
I have always been into genetics and breeding animals. I have had my fair share of dealing with badly bred animals and I want to change that. I want people to want and love dogs. Without dogs, my life would be boring. I want people to have that love and excitement but I want it to be with a good dog, not a bad one that was bred for just the money.What makes your program special?
All my dogs are AKC registered and their puppies will be eligible to be registered. My dogs live with me and experience the best life can throw at them. My dogs are confident and well-behaved, not timid and scared of the world.Where do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Shawnee partners with them to find the best puppy match.
Price
"Included with your puppy are AKC registration, the first round of vaccinations, deworming at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks, puppy socialization, and crate training. The deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another litter if the original puppy picked is not suitable for your lifestyle. This includes a microchip and registration."

Phoenix is a calm natured dog. She would much rather curl up on the couch or the bed with you than anything else. She loves to chew on antlers and go for hikes. She loves to go on camping trips and run around with our other dogs. She is out of our precious Sapphire and Rader. She looks a lot like her mother. She has a soft coat and carries the parti gene. We are so excited to see what her and Benji can make.

Rocky Mountain Nala is a cute salt and pepper girl. She has a wirey coat. She is a very outgoing dog. She loves to be in the middle of everything. She loves to be in the mountains going over every rock, bush and tree. She is not afraid to play ball with the big dogs. She loves to play fetch and chase the other dogs. She is always up for any adventure we go on. However, at the end of the day she loves to curl up in the blankets and sleep right by you.

She is out of Athena and by Benji. She has the amazing qualities that her parents have and passed on to her. She is smart and brave always seeking adventure. She is loyal and loves her people. Shawnee was great to work with, she sent me pictures and videos of our pup and answered any questions we had promptly. When it came time to pick up our pup, she met us halfway, going several hours out of her way to meet us. The pup is AMAZING, happy and healthy and SMART! (He already taught himself how to use the doggie door) We love our boy and feel beyond blessed to have this lil' fella in our life. Thank you Shawnee and Thank you Good Dog! Great experience!!

Shawnee and Bryce were exceptional throughout the entire process. They were very communicative and sent me pictures and videos of my pup consistently before I picked him up. They also held him a bit longer for me until I was able to get out there to pick him up. Shawnee was very thorough in educating me on specific things about schnauzers and even sent him home with a little package of toys, blanket, collar/leash. Overall, very kind people and the best customer service. We love our little Sirius. He’s too cute to handle, very smart, and a very good boy.
