I'm Lynell F., the breeder behind Rocky's Doxies located in Saucier, MS. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. Why did you start breeding?
We started with our first two. Rocky and Adrian. Our son has Autism. We wanted him to have dogs that would be good with children. He now works with me at taking care of our Dachshund Babies!
What makes your program special?
We put a lot of time and love into every Dachshund Baby that is born here at Rocky's Doxies! Our babies come with their first two setsof shots ( other breeders do just one) microchip, deworming, vet health check and genetic health guarantee.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, black, blue and cream, blue and tan, fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and tan, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Lynell
Lynell has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Our prices depend on color and coat. Our puppies come with their first two sets of shots, deworming, microchip, vet health check and genetic health guarantee. Holding deposit is due when puppies are born and you you choose your new puppy.”

Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
