I'm Lindsey S., the breeder behind Rolling S Ranch Doxies located in Woodburn, IA. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

Why did you start breeding?
I first fell in love with dachshunds because of their unique personalities. They are full of heart, intelligence, and just the right amount of sass. The more time I spent with them, the more I realized how special the breed truly is. I wanted others to experience that same joy and companionship that dachshunds bring into a home, so breeding became a natural next step.What makes your program special?
I focus on preserving the best qualities of the dachshund -- their loyal temperament, unique personalities, and sound structure. Each of my dogs is raised in a loving home environment, not a kennel, and given daily attention, socialization, and proper health care. My goal is to produce well-rounded, healthy dachshunds that bring joy to their families and truly represent the heart of the breed.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

"Price includes 1 year genetic health guarantee, age appropriate de-wormings & vaccinations, vet check, and puppy pack. We are more than happy to video chat anytime for you to meet available puppies! Deposit goes towards the total price of your puppy. Deposit is non-refundable, however, can be transferred to a different puppy or litter - applies for 1 year from date deposit made."

Litter update on 04 Feb •…🐾 Week 5 Puppy Update! Week 5 is when things get really fun! The puppies are more playful, more coordinated, and much more curious about everything around them. They’re spending more time awake, engaging with toys, and interacting with each other in those adorable little puppy “wrestling matches.” They’re also getting more comfortable with solid food and continuing to grow stronger and more independent each day. Personalities are becoming clearer now, and it’s so exciting to watch them develop! 💕

Litter update on 29 Jan •…🐾 Week 4 Puppy Update! This week marks a big step forward for the puppies as they become more confident on their feet and much more interactive. Playtime is increasing, and they’re learning important social skills through gentle wrestling, chasing, and exploring their space. They’re also beginning the transition to soft puppy food while still nursing from mama. Curiosity is in full swing, and each puppy is starting to show little preferences and personality traits that make them so fun to watch. 💕

Litter update on 21 Jan •…🐾 Week 3 Puppy Update! The puppies are becoming much more aware of the world around them this week. Their eyes and ears are open, and they’re starting to react to sounds, movement, and human voices. Wobbly walking has turned into short, determined steps, and playful interactions with littermates are beginning. This is the stage where curiosity starts to bloom and personalities begin to peek through 💕

Litter update on 14 Jan •…🐾 Week 2 Puppy Update! Our little trio is continuing to thrive as they enter their second week. Eyes are beginning to open, and they’re becoming more responsive to gentle handling and movement around them. They have stronger wiggles, are making early attempts at scooting, and there are lots of cozy cuddle piles. Mama is still their whole world, keeping them fed, clean, and comfortable as they grow a little more each day. This stage is quiet, sweet, and full of tiny milestones. 💕

Litter update on 09 Jan •…🐾 Week 1 Puppy Update! Our sweet newborns have had a wonderful first week of life. They’re nursing well, staying cozy and content, and spending most of their time sleeping and growing, just as they should at this stage. Mama is doing an excellent job caring for them, and the puppies are already getting stronger and more settled each day. These early days are all about warmth, nourishment, and bonding, and everything is going beautifully so far. 💕

Litter update on 03 Jan •…🐾 2-Day-Old Puppy Update! Our newborn puppies are doing great! Everyone is warm, nursing well, and settling nicely with mama. They’re spending their days eating and sleeping, which is exactly what we want to see at this age. Mom is attentive and has plenty of milk, and the puppies are already gaining strength and comfort each day. These first few days are all about rest, warmth, and bonding. What a perfect, peaceful start to life. 💕

Litter update on 04 Dec 2025 •…🐾 Puppy Health Update! 🐾 The puppies had their vet exams and received their first vaccines today, and everyone got a clean bill of health! 🎉 They were all so brave and handled their appointments beautifully. Each pup was checked head to toe, including heart, lungs, eyes, ears, joints, and overall development, and everything looked just as it should at this age. They’ll be a little sleepy today from all the excitement, but they’re doing great and right on track. We’re so proud of this healthy, happy litter! 💕

Their personalities are really shining, and they’re learning important life skills through play, socialization, and time with us. We can't believe this is our very last week to love on them and spoil them before they head out on their big adventures. 💕

My experience with Lindsey and Rolling S Ranch has been stellar from start to finish. From my first interaction through puppy pickup, Lindsey was kind, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. Most importantly, Louis, our new puppy, arrived happy, healthy, and exceptionally well socialized. I brought him home at eight weeks old, and he already knew his name and consistently pottied outside (with only occasional indoor accidents when not closely watched). I have never had a puppy demonstrate this level of training and awareness so early, and I fully attribute it to Lindsey’s care and her dedication to Rio and Remi’s litter.
