I'm Amber B., the breeder behind Roosters Brand of Aussies located in Norco, CA. I am a small Australian Shepherd breeder and have about 3-5 litters a year. Puppies are raised in my home, and they will be socialized with our kids, other dogs, and farm animals. I pride myself in breeding puppies that will make great pets, traveling partners, and agility competitors!
Q. & A. with Amber
Why did you start breeding?
I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come! I saw a lot of high-energy Australian Shepherds being placed with owners that weren't looking for such an energetic companion that I wanted to be able to help. I pride myself on helping all of my clients find the right fit for their needs and lifestyle.
What makes your program special?
My dog, Rooster, is what makes my breeding program special. His beautiful markings are passed onto his puppies as well as his personality, intelligence, and his loyalty. I focus on breeding dogs that have enough drive to keep up with my lifestyle, but also have amazing temperaments. I love spoiling and pampering my dogs, and I hope that the puppies' new homes will cherish them just as much as I do!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Australian Shepherd puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
