I'm Rosann M., the breeder behind Rosann's Collies located in Tigerton, WI. We start with Early Neurological Development on day 2 to 13, expose pups to all kinds of sounds, and experiences like car rides, people and other animals. They go home knowing their names and how to walk on a collar and leash.

“This includes 2 rounds of shots, vet check, some basic training, name recognition, car rides and exposure to a cat and chickens. I ask for the deposit to ensure proper feeding, vet check and vaccines. If you change your minds these monies have already been spent on the pups and the vet.”

Rosann's Collies reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Border Collies.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
