  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up in farms resulting in lots of experience in animal husbandry. I am a registered nurse so I have lots of medical and caretaker experience. I started breeding in 2008 whe I got a male companion for my female shih tzu. I now have 4 breeding females. 2 sires and one retired female named Booboo Rose who is the foundation of my girls.

  • What makes your program special?

    Rose Lane Quality Shih Tzus produces breed standard, intelligent sweet tempered AKC shih tzus. My sire SIR Raiden Handle Rose comes from exceptional linage. His great grandfather was the International world champion shih tzu in 2018. He is from Thomas Bright Odessa Joy line. My dogs are all extremely healthy and get regular veterinan health checks. Sir Raiden has had genetic DNA testing and results show No Abnormalities. They have pleasant outgoing personalities and make wonderful additions to your home

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and tan, black, red, gold and white, black gold and silver, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Monica

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Monica partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take great care in placing our puppies in loving homes with competent care takers. These are my babies and I care where they are placed. They can be placed at 8 ir 9 weeks when buyers can get an idea of the tempetment and activity level of each puppy”

Price

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $900.01 - $2,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes health guarantee, AKC paperwork, comfort blanket with mothers scent, first set of vaccinations and worming. Half down will secure your puppy for you, and rest due upon delivery of your new bundle of joy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Monica may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Monica was fantastic! This was our first pet we’ve welcomed into our family in over a decade so we had a fair amount of questions and Monica was there to answer all of them. Once we chose our puppy she sent pictures and videos leading up to the day we took our puppy home, meeting at a convenient public location we agreed upon to meet up. She was very transparent about the health of the puppy and the vaccines he received while under her care, and once we had our puppy at home she continued to check in and see how everything was going. The communication, transparency, and overall care Monica had from the beginning of the process until long after the transaction was complete is exactly what anyone would want when adding a new little member to their family. I cannot recommend Monica enough!

    Dealing with Monica was absolutely wonderful. She kept us informed and sent us regular updates and pictures of our little boy, Buddy! He is turning into a wonderful little guy. He is now partially potty trained, but he has trouble nipping because he is only 3 months old and getting in his teeth.
