Meet the breeder

I'm Allyson H., the breeder behind Rose Valley Aussies located in Trout Run, PA. Our dogs are first and foremost our family. They live and sleep in our home so that we can prepare them to be wonderful additions to yours. We breed healthy, beautiful puppies. We take our job seriously, knowing that our puppies will become someone's beloved pet.

Q. & A. with Allyson

  • Why did you start breeding?

Growing up my mom bred her Lhasa Apsos, and I really enjoyed that experience growing up. She however didn't do any type of testing on the parents. So when I got Delilah and fell in love with the breed, I started to really look into the proper way of breeding, and things blossomed from there.
  • What makes your program special?

All of my dogs live in my home and sleep in my bedroom with us! I am in the whelping boxes with mom dogs while they are giving birth. I raise each litter with Puppy Culture and when they are old enough they get brought into my grooming area to get socialized to many different people and desensitized to many sights and sounds safely. We truly love our puppies and know you will, too! We pride ourselves on helping all of our clients find the right fit for their needs and lifestyle.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red & white, black & white, black, red merle, blue merle, red, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Allyson was very helpful with all the info she gave me before we went to look at and actually bringing home Koda. Allyson and her husband were very down to early and I felt so comfortable when meeting them and staying some talking to them . If any out there is looking for an Australian Shepherd Allyson would be the one to contact . Koda’s first vet appointment went very well and r vet said the we really got one gem of a dog and how healthy Koda was .
