Q. & A. with Hannah
Why did you start breeding?
I started looking into breeding because I wanted a puppy from my girl, Patti. I think she is the perfect dog. What started with one litter for myself has turned into a passion and a bit of an extreme hobby.
What makes your program special?
I have met many other Golden Retrievers who are very excitable. I like to see a calm, attentive personality. I also strongly believe that a dog should have more investment than just health testing. I health test beyond OFA standards for the GR, my dogs compete at high levels in AKC and UKC. I think this sets us apart as not many breeders keep only girl dogs and still show them to high levels.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
