I'm Desiree R., the breeder behind Ross Vegas Kennels located in Chattanooga, TN. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live long happy lives.

Why did you start breeding?
We started with breeding quarter horses while growing up and we always had a herding bred dog mostly blue Heeler but quickly fell in love with all the breeds in the herding groupWhat makes your program special?
we try to match each individual temperament to the appropriate home so we minimize REHOMING situations in the future for the puppy, this way we hopefully place our puppies in forever homes!! I also provide shipping myself I don’t contract transportation out as I’ve heard and witnessed horror stories on paying some transport companies!!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Poodle puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Desiree has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Desiree partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Price includes: ABCA and/or AKC registration depending on parents and how they are registered. Some of my dogs are dual registered. ( ABCA/ AKC paperwork will be limited rights meaning no breeding rights ABCA paperwork are mailed out after puppies are in their new homes registration will be mailed to each new owner when they arrive. This is the only registry that requires us to register the litter as a whole and no temp registration is given with the puppies! AKC provided temporary registrations so those will be provided upon pickup of your puppy. — And — if breeding rights are desired an additional $500 will be added to eligible puppies listed price! ( breeding rights only on desirable puppies according to breed standards) * All age appropriate vaccines/ deworming every 2 weeks of birth with record * 1 yr Health guarantee *A gift bag with favorite toy/chew& treats *collar & leash! . $750 non- refundable but may be transferred to a future litter if you decide to cancel. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS ON DEPOSITS OR THE FINAL PURCHASE PAYMENTS …If a puppy is unsatisfactory per a veterinarian for genetic issues ONLY you are welcome to return the puppy within 7 days and another puppy will be offered In place of your puppy. If no puppy is available you will be offered a puppy from an upcoming litter. No exceptions will be made on this.”

We could not be happier with our puppy from Ross Vegas Kennels! I have owned four Border Collies and one mixed-breed dog over the course of several decades, and this puppy is truly the most balanced, wonderful dog we have ever had. Desiree described him as an exceptionally friendly, well-balanced puppy who had never met a stranger, and she was completely right. He joyfully runs up to every person he meets and is equally friendly, confident, and open with other dogs. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. He learns amazingly quickly, adapts beautifully to new situations, and handles experiences that could be stressful with remarkable confidence and ease. Our entire experience with Desiree and Ross Vegas Kennels was professional, honest, and true to everything we were told. +5I connected with Desiree on finding another border collie puppy after we lost our 15 year old Josie. I kept the lines burning with questions for Desiree and she was quick to respond EVERY SINGLE TIME — even late in the evening! She knows her puppies well, and made sure we had full knowledge of the parents. There was no pressure to make a quick decision and she was there for support anytime we had “just one more question.” We decided to let Ross Vegas Kennels transport our new puppy from Chattanooga to our home in Memphis. Desiree’s two sons drove all night and arrived when they said they would. They were a delight to visit with. They knew almost as much about our puppy as Desiree did. For me, working through Good Dog and with Desiree was an excellent experience, coupled with general care and concern as we transitioned from the loss of one beloved dog to the welcoming of a new puppy! Desiree is wonderful. She was patient with my questions. Desiree also knows the importance of the first 8 weeks of a pup’s life. She did all the right things to get a well rounded puppy. (Demi) Ivy had her first vet visit today. She was confident and so good. The staff hugged and snuggled with her and she welcomed all the strangers hugs. She is so smart. We now have a sit, down, spins and twirls and are working on shaking hands and rollovers. If you want a well rounded pup, I highly recommend Ross Vegas Kennels and Desiree Ross.
