I'm Kalyn R., the breeder behind Rothsolid Aussies located in Okeechobee, FL. At RothSolid Aussies, we raise Australian Shepherds in our home with a focus on temperament, structure, and intentional pairings. We focus on steady, well-balanced dogs that fit real family life.   • Why did you start breeding?

    I've always loved dogs, but Australian Shepherds completely stole my heart. Their intelligence, loyalty, and connection with their families made me fall in love with the breed. I started breeding because I wanted to share those qualities with other families. Today, I enjoy raising puppies in our home, watching them grow, and helping them find people who will love them as much as we do.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are family first. They live in our home, spend their days with our children, and are part of everyday life on our farm. Puppies are raised with hands-on care, socialization, and plenty of love from day one. We focus on temperament, intentional pairings, and raising happy, well-loved puppies that are ready to become cherished members of their own families.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kalyn

Kalyn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kalyn partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $950 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppies will have shots, deworming, and a Florida Health Certificate. They will leave microchipped and with registration paperwork. Every puppy is born and raised in our home with love and 24/7 care. A deposit reserves a puppy and is applied to the total price. Deposits are non-refundable unless we cannot provide a healthy or agreed-upon puppy, in which case they may be refunded or transferred.”

Kalyn may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     From the very beginning, Kalyn has been absolutely amazing. Our first FaceTime call lasted about 30–45 minutes, and she so patiently answered every single question we had without rushing us at all. She’s also continued to be super responsive through text and has answered what feels like a thousand more questions since then. She’s incredibly kind, thoughtful, and always kept us updated with anything we wanted to know. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
