Meet the breeder

I'm Natalie R., the breeder behind Royal Bloodline Canines located in Wooldridge, MO. My name is Natalie. Here is a little about us. We breed and show AKC Miniature Dachshunds, specializing in wires and smooths. Every dog is Embark tested for health & color. Raised on our Missouri farm, our dachshunds are well-loved, well-cared for, and ready to shine in the ring or at home.

Q. & A. with Natalie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I began breeding with bulldogs, a breed that required a lot of dedication and care, from AI to c-sections. When my best friend introduced me to AKC dachshunds and showing, I fell in love. Inspired by the show world, I transitioned from bulldogs to focusing on dachshunds, working toward breed standards and raising quality, well-loved dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

Our program is built on love, passion, health, and quality. We focus on AKC dachshunds, raising dogs that meet breed standards while being cherished family companions. All of our dogs are health and color tested, ensuring soundness and beauty. Each puppy is raised with care on our farm, where they grow healthy, social, and ready to thrive in their forever homes.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include wirehaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red, wild boar, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
