I'm Regina S., the breeder behind Royal Champion Dogs located in Austin, TX. We produce puppies from champion bloodlines. We have gorgeous shaded cremes and beautiful reds who are raised in a loving home. Our beautiful long-haired Miniature Dachshund shaded cremes and reds have incredible championship bloodlines. We responsibly breed regarding appearance, genetics, and personality because we care that the breed and our pups are healthy, strong, and wonderful! Why did you start breeding?
My father and I raised puppies for a while when I was a child and it brought joy into our lives. I remember how excited I was when I got my first pup on my 8th birthday and how much I loved that dog all the way through college. I love the happiness it brings to people!
What makes your program special?
We handle each puppy as our own and make sure they are socialized in our home. We also make sure the breed is genetically diverse, healthy, and as close to the breed standard as possible.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
