I'm Jessica K., the breeder behind Royal King’s Mini Dachshunds located in La Junta, CO. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!

Why did you start breeding?
My first dachshund was the one that made me want to start out breeding.
What makes your program special?
All puppies a raised in my home. They are around other farm animals including bigger dogs, chickens, turkeys, pigs and at times of the year cattle. They learn to use a doggy door before they leave my home to their new families.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Jessica has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jessica partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“All my babies are either AKC registered or CKC registered. Prices are based off of the breeding not color or gender of the puppy. Deposits are non refundable and non transferable. If you place a deposit and no longer want the puppy you forfeit your deposit.”

Jessica may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
