Meet the breeder

I'm Mary P., the breeder behind Royal T Mi-Kis located in Elizabeth, CO. Royal T Mi-Kis is a responsible breeder of quality Mi-Ki puppies from health-tested parents. Our home-raised puppies are lovingly socialized and arrive already starting to use potty pads, with their first set of shots, and a microchip. We breed for temperament, health, and conformation.

Q. & A. with Mary

  • Why did you start breeding?

I used to write for an online pet products company about all of the dog breeds. Eventually, I came to the Mi-Ki and realized this was the breed I'd been searching for - small, hypoallergenic, non-yappy, intuitive partners that are well-suited as medical alert and therapy dogs. After volunteering in pet rescue, I came to realize that purposefully bred dogs are healthy and balanced companions.
  • What makes your program special?

I am fortunate to be able to work from home so our dogs and puppies always have the care they need. We do health testing on our parents including eyes, heart, patellas, and full Embark DNA health screenings. We post weekly quality photos of our puppies to inform prospective parents about their development. We welcome visitors to our home to experience the Mi-Kis in person. We would be honored to connect you with your next beloved puppy!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, white, fawn, cream, brown, blue, and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Mary

Mary has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Mary partners with them to find the best puppy match.

"We may have a waitlist but typically match puppies after we can assess their traits and temperaments - around 6-8 weeks. Puppies are usually ready to travel when they are 10-12 weeks old. They have to be a minimum of 2 pounds before they can be adopted. "

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,100 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

"Includes dewormings, the first set of vaccinations, a full veterinary exam, a free month of pet insurance, a microchip, pre-paid registration, an airline-approved carrier, food samples, toys, etc. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another available puppy or future litter."

Contract & health guarantee

Mary may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Mary was absolutely a great person to get my Imrie from. She knows her puppies and knows what kind of family they should go to. That was a big factor in me getting my beautiful baby Imrie. He's absolutely beautiful and well behaved puppy. We've had only a cpl accidents so far but he goes to the papers or outside if weather permits. His attitude is amazing with his new siblings. I love him to pieces. Thank you Mary

Every question was answered before we even had to ask. So professional and reassuring. We left with confidence knowing that we had backup whenever needed.

I cannot say enough good things about Mary! She always went above and beyond, and it was clear that that was because she loves her puppies and wants each one of them to go to the right home. My family had been interested in getting a Mi-Ki for a couple of years, but I fell in love with her YouTube videos, so I reached out to her through the App. She responded immediately and listened to our individual family story. She understood the kind of dog my children could take care of, and the kind of dog they needed, and she was patient with all our questions. She matched us with our perfect puppy, which we have had for more than three weeks. We are all smitten with him! It is so clear that he was treated with love and kindness by Mary. Now he is the hit of our NYC neighborhood. We highly recommend Mary!
