I'm Rebecca B., the breeder behind Royalty Retrievers located in Newmanstown, PA. Our puppies are as much our babies as yours. Health is our number one priority, but we also focus on socialization with daily activity from birth to encourage acclimation to touch and desensitization to “negative” contact (ears, paws, etc.) with both people and other animals.
Q. & A. with Rebecca
Why did you start breeding?
My mother has been breeding Labrador Retrievers for over 20 years. I have been a part of her program for many years. In 2015, I decided that I wanted to create my own specialized line of Labrador Retrievers, focusing on dilutes (Silver, Charcoal, & Champagne) to help fund my daughters’ college tuitions.
What makes your program special?
We are determined to stay a small, private breeder so that each dog and each puppy can be socialized to their best potential. We take great care in testing our parents through a variety of health screenings, to make sure we are providing prospective buyers with the ultimate healthy and socialized companion. We proudly stand behind our puppies and providing a lifetime of care to our clients.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Dilute Retriever puppies include silver, charcoal, and champagne. Labrador Retriever puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
