I'm Rich & Rebecca, the breeder behind R&R Yorkies of San Antonio located in San Antonio, TX. Our beloved Yorkies are part of our family, and our pups are born into a loving & caring environment. The parents are AKC traditional Yorkies with high quality bloodlines (including AKC Champions) with no propensity for health issues. Our Yorkies are on the smaller end of the spectrum for the breed.
Q. & A. with Rich & Rebecca
Why did you start breeding?
Rich's sister is a small-scale Yorkie breeder in the Northwest US (Aspen Yorkies). Her puppies have become very popular, and have gone to loving families all across the country. We became interested in breeding Yorkies as a way to spread the love and joy Yorkies bring to their families.
What makes your program special?
Our three adults are AKC traditional Yorkies with very high-quality bloodlines (including several AKC Champions) with no known genetic propensity for health issues. Our's tend to be on the smaller end of the Yorkie spectrum, which makes them ideal house pets and companions. One of the best things about Yorkies is they DO NOT SHED; an important factor for households with allergy concerns.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and tan and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
