I'm Theresa R., the breeder behind R-Team located in Alcester, SD. Our adults are family pets, who get a lot of attention! We handle and play with puppies from birth. We expose them to a variety of experiences in their socialization including introducing them to gunshots and fetching in case you want to hunt with them. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

Why did you start breeding?
We are a family that enjoys our dogs! Raising puppies is one way to get to experience the puppy stage over and over! We enjoy preparing the puppies to be your new best friend!
What makes your program special?
Our adults are family pets! We have done health clearances on the parents to do our best to ensure healthy puppies. Puppies are played with handled continually! The way puppies are treated and socialized the first few months of life definitely affects their personalities and their desire to please and trainability.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Theresa

Theresa has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,150 - $1,550 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Health check, heath guarantee, first and second immunizations, regular deworming, and ample socialization! Yellow Males or Females $1400 Fox Red Males or Females $1800 Downpayment comes off the purchase price. If I decide not to send puppy due to illness or other circumstances I will refund 100% of your deposit. If you break the contract or back out deposit is non-refundable."

Theresa was quick to respond and answered all questions. She provided weekly updates and offered to meet us for pick up, eliminating to two hours of travel time. Maple (now Millie) was just as described. She is active but observes situations before jumping in, and she is very smart. At almost 11 weeks, she is mostly potty trained, has mastered the sit command, and working on the shake command and retrieving. We completed a vet check with our primary vet and received a clean bill of health. Her physique and coloring is perfect and we couldn’t be happier. 10/10 reccomend.
