I'm Paula B., the breeder behind Rudy’s Scottish Terrier located in Hermann, MO. We are a small, family-run breeding program focusing on quality care and good health. Our puppies are the perfect loving and loyal companions! We started breeding with the simple mission to breed the very best dogs that we can, to raise them with love, and to find them the perfect future homes.
Q. & A. with Paula
Why did you start breeding?
Bill had Scotties as a young boy and gifted me with my first, Rudy when our youngest child left home.
We decided to persue purchasing Lucy, then Angus who were our first pair of mates we began breeding in 2015.
We acquired Penelope in 2017, we breed her with both Angus and Rhett(offspring of Lucy & Angus).
What makes your program special?
I was fortunate enough to be mentored by Robin Geppert if Locksley Scotties, from whom we purchased Angus.
She taught me everything I know about breeding, whelping, and raising puppies to be quality, healthy and happy pets.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black brindle and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
