I'm Alesha F., the breeder behind Rustic Dachshunds located in Wichita, KS. Our Dachshund pups are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up with excellent hunting dogs, I never really thought much of becoming a breeder myself until we got our first dachshund! From there it’s been a complete blast as well as a humbling experience. Dachshunds will keep you on your toes! They are loving, ornery, and a self preservation breed. They love their family, but they also like to think for themselves. All of our dachshunds are fantastic with kids and I would say a perfect family pet!What makes your program special?
We put a ton of effort into making sure our dogs are healthy and structurally correct, and we want to better the breed with each generation! I also stay at home so all our dogs and puppies are always taken care of!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, wild boar, black, chocolate, brindle, blue and cream, blue and tan, fawn (isabella) and cream, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $3,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
