I'm Tamara B., the breeder behind Rustic Lace located in Chickasha, OK. I am a hobby and show breeder who focuses on sound dispositions and structure. Why did you start breeding?
I got my first Australian Shepherd in 2007, then my first Mini Australian Shepherd in 2012. Shortly after I got my mini I knew that I wanted to show her. I contacted a couple of breeders for mentor help and it took off from there!What makes your program special?
My dogs are healthy, happy, and a joy to be around. I dedicate all my time to loving and caring for my babies. When I'm not caring for critters on our 133 acre farm, I'm doing all that I can to provide help and support for my puppy families. I'm only a quick call or text away from answering any questions.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include black, red, blue merle, and red merle. Australian Shepherd puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, red, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle and red merle. Bullmastiff puppies include red fawn brindle, fawn brindle, red brindle, red fawn, and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Tamara
Tamara has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Tamara partners with them to find the best puppy match.
"The goal is always a long term, lifetime home for each puppy. If in the event the puppy you chose early on does not seem to be a fit for you as temperament matures, we will roll your deposit to a more suitable puppy/ litter. "
Price
"My prices range $1000-$4000 depending on the puppy and if they are going as pet only or with breeding rights. Deposits are non-refundable, but that is dealt with on a case by case basis. Deposit amount ranges $300-1000 depending on the puppy."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Litter update on 30 Aug 2025 •…Conformation and temperament evaluations are complete! Vet checks done and babies are ready to go! We have 1 black tri female and 2 red tri males available. Making a quick trip to Lubbock Texas on Sunday and would be happy to bring your new addition along!

Luda is a sweet and gentle natured girl. We’ve popped her into the show ring here and there and she typically wins big! She’s won a winners bitch at barely 6 months old at our specialty in 2024. Shes taken breed from the classes as well which is a hard thing to do! Shes on the very large side for a bullmastiff female, weighing 132 lbs on a light day. She is fully health tested including echocardiogram, pennhip, elbows and is clear on the genetic panel as well.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
