Meet the breeder

I'm Paul S., the breeder behind Rusty Creek Aussies located in Eubank, KY. Our dogs are farm raised and run free during the day and kenneled are night. We have only raised 5 litters of pups and they are welped inside our home and raised inside until 8 weeks old. Our pups are vet checked before going to their new homes.

Q. & A. with Paul

  • Why did you start breeding?

We purchased our 1st Aussie, Marley-Anne for our daughter 5 years ago and I purchased our male Aussie, Rusty Creek 4 years ago and we decided to raise a litter of pups to start saving towards our daughter’s college fund. We kept 2 puppies from the 1st litter, one for our son and one for my wife. We are on our 5th litter and our daughter is a Junior in college!
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are family pets first! We absolutely love the breed. We live on a farm, our dogs love running and playing. Each dog has a different personality and that’s another thing we love about the breed. We are responsible breeders and have no more than 2 litters a year. Normally, one litter a year. We do this because we love the breed and it is a great way to help our daughter with college.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

We had a fantastic experience working with Paul to bring home our puppy! He sent pictures regularly so we could watch him grow and even started calling him by the name we chose (Gus) so he could learn his name! Gus is a very healthy and happy puppy and he was absolutely the right choice for our family! I highly recommend this breeder.
