I'm Rutha M., the breeder behind Rutha Meacham's Cocker Spaniels located in Port Clinton, OH. I have always loved dogs. I love working with Cocker Spaniels and seeing the positive effect that a well-behaved, furry companion can have on his or her family. I strive to produce quality puppies for families that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have wonderful temperaments.

Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding Cocker Spaniels because they are loving, loyal companions. So many people would ask where did u get your Cocker Spaniel? When we realized how hard it is to find a quality dog, we decided to put our passion to good use! We love sharing this incredible breed with others.What makes your program special?
Our breeding program stands out amongst others because of the personal attention we give to every detail of the journey. Our commitment is to provide you with a professional and friendly puppy-buying experience, and that includes always having responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Rutha
Rutha has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 refundable deposit and between $700 - $750 final payment, before taxes & fees.
