I'm Jane F., the breeder behind RVA Wirehaired Weenies located in Henrico, VA. I became smitten with wirehaired dachshunds 8 years ago when I adopted my first boy off of Craigslist. He was 7 years old at the time and had the most beautiful brown eyes I have ever seen. Percy is now 15 years and alternates between playing like a puppy and acting like a grumpy old man. Breeding has been both challenging and amazing. It is a joy to raise these pups and to meet new owners who also love a wirehair dachshund.   • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have wirehaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red, wild boar, chocolate and tan, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jane

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and $2,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes AKC registration, first shots, deworming and statement of health from my vet. All puppies are priced the same. Deposit guarantees your puppy will be reserved for you.”

Jane may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
