I'm Graci W., the breeder behind Sagehounds located in Emmett, ID. We are committed to always responsibly breeding with the best interest of our puppies’ health and longevity at the forefront. Our hope is to prepare each of our puppies with thoughtful socialization so they have the best foundation to seamlessly transition into their new homes.

Why did you start breeding?
My whole life my family has raised dogs I grew up breeding frenchies and hunting labs. Frenchies and labs do hold a place in my heart I wanted a breed that was smaller then labs and could keep up with our busy life’s. I decided that dachshund are the perfect small breed that fit our lifestyle.
What makes your program special?
What I feel makes my breeding program special is the active lifestyle my dogs get to have and also the exposure they get from that my dogs are around all sorts of different environments and animals and I hope to share that with my puppies so that it can help them be well socialized and comfortable with the world around them.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Graci

Graci has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $150 non-refundable deposit and between $1,150 - $1,650 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Graci may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
