I'm Erin L., the breeder behind Sagey Acres Farmette and Labs located in Falling Waters, WV. We have a passion for sharing the joy and love that the Labrador breed offers families, while training our puppies with the ESI and ENS curricula. We also do temperament evaluations, to give all of our puppies a voice in their placement as well.
Q. & A. with Erin
Why did you start breeding?
Matthew and I both grew up with Labrador Retrievers and we wanted to do our best to provide more opportunity for healthy, pure bred Labradors, specifically for families who needed well rounded puppies to be ready for therapy or service training. It has been a rewarding journey and we are honored to be a responsible breeder for those seeking the joy that Labrador Retrievers have to offer.
What makes your program special?
We use a carefully vetted curriculum to administer Early Scent Introduction (ESI) and Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises to give all of our puppies an incredible foundation. This gives them the opportunity to be the best companions, therapy, service, or ESA, they can become, as it jumps starts their neurological connections from the third day of life.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Labrador Retriever puppies include black and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
