I'm Ashley B., the breeder behind Salt Creek Doodles located in Draper, UT. My passion is to breed quality pups and connect them with loving homes! I have a strong focus on health, temperament, training, and socialization. Quality puppies require quality time!! Our puppies are born and grow up in our house! Not our garage or back yard. They are handled and loved endlessly.
Q. & A. with Ashley
Why did you start breeding?
I have always been the biggest dog person, especially when it comes to puppies. When I was 18 I bought a puppy, with no thought of ever breeding her. After watching her grow and how strong of natural mother instincts she had, I stared doing my research. I soon after started on the breeding process and never looked back! It has brought me so much joy and was one of the best decisions of my life!
What makes your program special?
Our focus is quality over quantity! We keep our breeding program small so that we can ensure we are giving our mamma dog and her puppies all the love, care, and attention they need! Our dogs are members of our family! Our puppies are born and raised in our home. We maintain a healthy, clean, and mentally stimulating area for our puppies to grow, learn, and explore.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black phantom, black and white, black tri-color, red phantom, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
