I'm Darena V., the breeder behind Sandhills Edge Equine Massage and Scottish Terriers located in Gore, OK. I am fascinated by their large dog capabilities. Our goal is to ensure every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life! Our pups are raised in our home and are loved as family. We provide each of our pups with lots of socialization and love, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding policies.

Why did you start breeding?
It all started in high school with a pair of Blue Heelers…..I raised Scotties when my kids were little, 25 plus years ago. This is my second time raising Scotties in particular, I’ve always raised something. I might add another breed but I will always have a Scotch!!What makes your program special?
I am not a kennel raising an outrageous amount of dogs. It’s just me. I also encourage my Scotties to hunt, which is what they were bred to do. They can be conformationally correct, genetic tested and have high instinct without being a show dog. We do Fastcat and Barnhunt, and now NASDA (scent work). Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Pet registration starts at $1500 plus any transport fees. Puppies are vetted and wormed with 2 sets of shots. Deposit are what guarantees a puppy.”

Darena may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Patellar Luxation
