Q. & A. with Lindsey
Why did you start breeding?
I first got into showing my Aussies and learned more about breeding through that venue. I gained a few mentors, who I still learn from regularly, and familiarized myself with the Aussie written standard.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are highly competitive in conformation and performance which meets the standard and provides families with an Australian Shepherd that looks and acts exactly like the breed is intended to. I am also a good resource for owners to learn how to groom and take care of their Aussies. I have a YouTube channel with grooming videos and I post useful tips on my Instagram, Sandollar Aussies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
