I'm Virginia T., the breeder behind Sandstone Dachshunds located in Seattle, WA. I am a small show breeder of Miniature Longhair Dachshunds. With each litter, I focus on temperament, quality, health, show, and companionship. My dogs and puppies are lovingly raised in my home as part of my family so that I can prepare them to be an excellent addition to yours.
Q. & A. with Virginia
Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved dogs and was excited to establish my show line and breeding program. I have loved the journey and I am a proud breeder with a focus on temperament and the overall mental and physical health of my puppies. I love placing happy, healthy puppies with loving families.
What makes your program special?
I do all that I can to set my puppies up for success. My buyers will often come back for more puppies because they have such wonderful experiences with the dogs that they get from me. I take pride in raising well-tempered and socialized puppies who can excel in their lives with their future families.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
