I'm Joan G., the breeder behind Sandy Bottoms Farm located in Columbia Falls, MT. We expose our pups to a variety of farm life experiences including loud noises, various prey animals, lots of dirt and outside time as well as exposure to “strangers” picking up eggs and random car rides to town. Our goal is to build Farm Dogs who are well-rounded parts of your family!

Winston, dad
Old Time Scotch Collie
About Winston
Winston is a gentle, cuddly (clingy?) big fella with a huge heart. He loves our children, protects our property, and watches over and protects our flocks of chickens and ducks. He is especially good at keeping birds of prey away as they fly over our place looking for a quick meal. He has kept a neighbor’s mule off our fence line, pinned a neighbor’s very large golden retriever male who dug under our fence, and alerts us to suspicious activity in all directions. He is very active and alert, but loves to have his nap in the house in the evenings too.
Beulah, mom
Old Time Scotch Collie
About Beulah
Beulah is named for the book series, “Hank the Cowdog.” She is a beautiful sable from Virginia and has resided here in Montana since she was a pup. She is an excellent watch dog, a protector of our children, and chases birds of prey away from our flocks of chickens and ducks. Beulah is also a big fan of playing fetch! She’s agile, fast, and intuitive. While she is always on alert, she loves to lay at my feet for a nap too. She is level-headed and an excellent mother.
