I'm Deanna M., the breeder behind Sandy Paws Labradors Maui located in Kihei, HI. As a trainer and behaviorist, I raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. Our puppies are raised with developmentally appropriate socialization, ENS, and Puppy Culture. Parents are fully health tested.
Q. & A. with Deanna
Why did you start breeding?
I decided to begin breeding to provide healthy, good tempered, true quality English Labradors to the Hawaiian islands. As a trainer, I have seen too many behavioral issues arise that could have been prevented with early socialization and health testing.
What makes your program special?
My program is unique because I am a trainer and behaviorist and understand the development of the dog from birth on. Local families who adopt our puppies have my expertise and help for life. I stay up to date on latest trends and best practices for puppy whelping, puppy raising and matching puppies with their forever families.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
