I'm Garrett L., the breeder behind Sandy River Aussies located in Norridgeowck, ME. We love Miniature Australian Shepherds, and we aim to produce healthy and exceptional pups that will thrive in their future homes. We are a family farm that raises and breed AKC Australian Shepherds on the smaller side. Our adults are from reputable breeders, and all of our puppies are raised in and around a farm environment in central Maine. Our dogs are our family, and we can't wait to welcome you into our community!

Why did you start breeding?
We love this breed! Our dogs have brought us so much love and happiness that we decided to start our own responsible breeding program by producing the highest quality dogs and providing them a wonderful life with wonderful families. Our dogs are an integral part of our family and daily life. This creates the ideal environment for puppies. From birth, they grow in a secure, loving environment where they know that they matter to their family - that they have a purpose.
